Brick Slip Feature Arches
Corbelled Cornice Brick Slip Arches
Providing more than 1,000 Brick Slip Feature Arches for the Ministry of Defence-run rehabilitation centre for serving personnel was no mean feat.
The Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC) Stanford Hall is a bespoke, £300 million, purpose-built centre of excellence based in Loughborough.
IG Masonry Support supplied more than 1,000 Brick Slip Feature Arches and 3,000m of Corbelled Cornice Brick Slip Arches to the exterior façade. The innovative prefabricated systems were the ideal solution for achieving the grand aesthetic envisioned by the architects. This was particularly the case at the main courtyard, where a series of impressive ground-floor arches were designed in a collection of different classical architectural styles.
