130 Hope Street, designed by J Frankl Architects, blends historical charm with modern aesthetics in the heart of Williamsburg, New York.

Reliable Masonry faced a challenge in creating visually appealing floating brick soffits for the building. Unable to find a suitable supplier in the US, they turned to IG Masonry Support, an already reputable supplier in the UK and Ireland.

Using the Brick Slip Soffit Panels and B.O.S.S.® (Brick On Soffit Systems), IG Masonry Support designed angled soffits featuring random brick bond and a distinctive rowlock bond finish at the building’s entrance.

These panels added architectural interest and a welcoming focal point.

In various other areas of the façade, Brick Slip Soffit Panels were strategically installed to create captivating brickwork features that slope in different directions, forming a unique light tunnel effect.

The collaboration resulted in a striking and distinctive building in Brooklyn, showcasing intricate brickwork that fulfills the vision of J Frankl Architects while capturing the attention of onlookers. For IG Masonry Support, this was a stunning entrance to the US market.
