Once known as the most expensive home to be built in Britain, Updown Court is a 103-room, neo-classical Georgian-style property that nestles in 58 acres of grounds.

Keystone Lintels was specified as the trusted manufacturer by US architect John B Scholz thanks to our reputation for unusual structural support and ability to design the huge quantity of Special Arch Lintels and Colonnade Supports required throughout this magnificent mansion build.

Our industry-renowned engineering experts ensured the hundreds of lintels and structural support products needed on this project met the exacting brief. Traditionally, Georgian-style homes were designed to provide a more generous sense of space and natural light, a design aspect characterised by our Special Arch Lintels, as shown in this rear elevation of the property.

Such was the scale of this mansion build, we also manufactured many standard, heavy duty and extra heavy duty straight Lintels.
