Following the demolition of an existing property, HGN Design Ltd designed a new home that would feature an impressive main entrance with intricate brick detailing above.

Planning permission stipulated the overall dwelling design, size and appearance did not appear out of character with the surrounding area. Incorporated within the arched main entrance was the dominant keystone and six decorative feature stones, creating a decorative focal point to the building’s façade. Keystone’s Keyslip Feature Arch Lintel was the perfect solution to achieve the detail required.

The expert technical team at Keystone Lintels designed the Keyslip Feature Arch Lintel to accommodate a 2,343mm brick span and 1,171mm rise. Close collaboration with the stone supplier ensured the feature arch was completed with Swanage Imperial Light Stock bricks, for a seamless fit with the rest of the build.

The eye-catching arch, featuring bullnose-type bricks, was prefabricated offsite in quality-controlled conditions and delivered to site, ready for rapid installation by contractor M&P Dunn Ltd.
