For a time-sensitive project in South-East London that required an accredited solution supplied in line with a tight build programme, Keyfix’s non-combustible solutions proved ideal.
Designed by ECD Architects and built by developer Wates Group, the £95m development comprises 320 new homes of a mixed tenure in Erith. Working alongside brickwork contractor Lee Marley Brickwork, we supplied 3,593m of our Non-combustible Cavity Tray System, 2,261 pre-formed Corner Units and 8,267 Non-combustible Weeps.
The Keyfix NCCT was specified due to its ‘one-piece system’ which allows for a very simple and efficient installation. The system is self-supporting as it doesn’t require fixing back to the internal frame, therefore saving valuable time. Additionally, the adjustability of the perp joint allows for the cavity trays to be shunted to match the brick coursing on site, ensuring consistency in the brickwork formation.
