Glosford SIPS played a key role in the exclusive Bilton Fields development of 10 new-build properties and an office suite.

The final project on the scheme was the extension of the Coach House, a high-quality barn conversion completed over 25 years ago that maintained the integrity of the original building.

BoBen Construction instructed Glosford SIPS to extend the home with lobby entrance and open plan kitchen/dining area on the ground floor, as well as a new principal bedroom and ensuite on the first floor. We provided the superstructure for the extension, which included 172mm structural insulated panel (SIP) external walls and vaulted roof panels. These were clad in a mixture of contemporary materials to balance against the character of the original barn.

Using the SIP system ensured excellent thermal efficiency and airtightness for the new section of this three-bedroom home.
