Maintaining a traditional architectural style was a key consideration for Stephen Langer Architects Ltd when it designed this home in the heart of Kent.

Ascent Building Ltd was instructed to construct the intricate design using the highest quality building materials.

IG Lintels, known for their expertise and reputation in delivering this type of bespoke vision, were appointed to provide Brick Slip Feature Lintels to help achieve an aesthetically pleasing exterior façade.

The modern building technique enabled the architect and builder to produce effective one-piece solutions for each decorative brick detail. These brick features were a bespoke order, with components including a 2.4m span corbelled arch, which defined the porch entrance.

IG Lintels also supplied a range of other brick feature components, including flat gauge arches, full arch lintels and bullseye lintels, all of which were bespoke made to create the elaborate brick features on this stunning home.

We specified three different forms of intricate curved brickwork: the semi-circular receding  arch, circular windows and curved arch heads to all windows. This required a highly skilled level of brick cutting and craftsmanship successfully provided by IG steel lintels.
