An authentic Dutch home with straw roofing, surrounded by trees and greenery, called for a roof window that would blend seamlessly into its design and allow the homeowners to enjoy the idyllic scenery.

This unusual installation in Eindhoven, South Netherlands, demonstrated the versatility of the Keylite Flick-Fit brackets – a unique Keylite innovation with flick-fit brackets pre-fitted to the roof window to enable fast and easy installation and to sit lower on the prepared roof opening.

Used with the DTRF flashing system, the four windows were fitted straight from the box into the pre-installed frame and ensured instant water tightness.

Background ventilation was also provided through the top handle, which has an integral insect filter – particularly beneficial for thatched roofs.

Using the products for the first time, the builder praised their simplicity and speed of installation.
