Purpose of the Job:
We are currently recruiting for a Designer with roof truss/timber experience to work in our design department and prepare roof panel drawing packs for approval and manufacture. Liaise with both Customer and Production to maintain a steady and accurate flow of information in a reasonable timeframe.
Job Description:
- Produce accurate drawing packs for production in a timely manner
- Communicate directly with Customer technical teams and answer their queries
- Contribute to the development of new designs
- Engage with management in a responsible manner
Personal Specification
- Previous design experience
- knowledge of roof truss/timber sector is essential
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD or similar design package
- Ability to work to set deadlines
