Job Opportunity:

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is self-motivated, well organized and possesses good communication skills and sound business awareness. This position will be responsible for implementing quality assurance checks and audits.  The successful applicant will be required to undertake the role with diligence ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards possible within agreed timelines.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Checking and measuring from concept to finished product all lintel types that have brick slips attached.
  • Auditing products at brick cutters and on site for final sign off.
  • Maintain quality records
  • Audit contractors to ensure conformance to agreed procedures and quality requirements
  • Draft work instructions and quality procedures for the manufacture of products and ensure adherence
  • To act as a liaison between technical and the shop floor for any production issues
  • Perform spot-checks on finished goods, evaluate and audit current systems and procedures
  • To undertake multi skilled repairs in line with multi skilled agreement and the relevant qualification
  • Assessing building safety to ensure structural integrity is secured before work continues
  • Investigate and record customer complaints regarding product performance, specifications, and reliability
  • Compile quality control reports, create statistical process control metrics, manage non-conformity material discrepancy reports, and recommend continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate the company’s quality program, including the implementation of ISO9001 systems and procedures.

 

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ideally degree educated or equivalent
  • Experience of working with ISO 9001 (preferably in the Construction/Manufacturing Industry)
  • Audit experience
  • Full Driving Licence
