Owen Coyle Presents at 231st Edition of Zak World of Facades in Toronto
IG Masonry Support showcases innovation at Zak World Toronto.
IG Masonry Support took centre stage at the Zak World of Façades conference on October 7th in Toronto, where President Owen Coyle shared insights on the future of masonry support systems and façade engineering in Canada.
As the 231st edition globally and the fourth in Toronto, Zak World of Façades brought together leading architects, engineers, contractors, and developers to explore the latest advancements in façade design, building envelope performance, and sustainable construction technologies.
In his presentation, Owen demonstrated how we are advancing modern masonry through innovative stainless steel masonry support systems and prefabricated brick slip solutions. He focused on how these technologies enable the delivery of complex brick façades while improving installation efficiency, reducing on-site labour, and maintaining long-term structural performance.
Drawing on real-world case studies from across the UK, Europe, and North America, he showed how we are helping project teams achieve intricate architectural brickwork, including deep soffits and high-performance façade systems, that meets both aesthetic and structural demands.
Owen was joined by Director Paul Graham and Specification Executive Sophie Fox, who engaged with delegates during networking in the exhibition space.
Zak World of Façades is a globally recognized conference series dedicated to façade design and engineering, with more than 230 editions and over 65,000 delegates worldwide. Hosted in more than 40 countries, including Canada, the series continues to serve as a key platform for sharing innovation and best practices across the global construction industry.
