ICT Support Engineer – 12 Month Contract

The role:
The key duties & responsibilities for this role will involve:
• Assisting with the day-to-day delivery of ICT services across multiple sites including UK/Ireland/Poland
• To support current & future IT projects
• Support core ERP system and directly associated applications inc EDI
• Provide innovative ideas to increase ICT efficiency
• Maintain & improve customer service levels
• Handling & prioritising support requests
• User account maintenance (active directory email etc)

Job skills & requirements:
• Excellent PC hardware & software skills
• Exchange 2010 / Exchange 2007,
• LAN/WAN network technologies
• Server Backup technologies, Veeam or Symantec Backup Exec
• Linux & Windows Server ( 2008 R2 – 2012)
• Citrix
• Server Virtualisation – Vmware
• Symantec Protection Suite
• Blackberry Server (BES 10)
• Active Directory
• The deployment of desktop devices (PC’s, laptops, printers, phones etc.)
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication & organisational skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to new technologies
• Ability to work on own initiative & solve complex IT problems
• Must be willing to work non-standard business hours when required.
• Must be willing to travel to our UK sites on occasion.
