Hi Therm Lintel voted Best Building Fabric Product

Keystone’s unique Hi-Therm Sustainability Lintel has won ‘Best Building Fabric Product’ at the Housebuilder Product awards 2013.

The award was presented to Keystone’s Chief Executive Sean Coyle and Research and Development Manager Richard Kinloch, at the ceremony which took place at Edgbaston stadium in Birmingham on 20th June.

Sean Coyle commented “We are extremely proud and delighted to have won this prestigious award.  Our Hi-Therm Lintel has been the result of an extensive R & D and testing programme.  Its unique steel and grp construction offers the single most cost effective solution for Housebuilders to achieve reduced carbon emissions and improved fabric energy efficiency.  It is an honour to have been chosen as Best Building Fabric Product in this category which recognises excellence and innovation in the UK House building industry!”

The panel of judges included key representatives from the National House-Building Council, Home Builders Federation, BBA, Construction Products Association and BRE as well as key figures from the national House Builders.

Former England cricketer and author, journalist and commentator Ed Smith presented the event.

The Hi-Therm lintel will now go forward as a finalist for the ‘Product of the Year ‘ at The Housebuilder Awards on 7th November at the Tower Hotel, London
