Main Purpose of Job

Reporting to the Marketing Controller, the candidate will be responsible for providing high quality graphic design services for Keystone Group in a co-ordinated, cost-effective, efficient and corporate way.  To manage graphic design projects internally and with external providers while maintaining a consistent corporate identity.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design of full range of material, including publications, leaflets & exhibitions etc.
  • Involved in co-ordinating all graphic design projects across the Keystone Group.
  • Prepare detailed specifications for printers & other suppliers and liaise with these suppliers on all aspects of the design and production process.
  • Operate in a desktop publishing environment and have a detailed knowledge of associated software packages.
  • Manage allocated resources in the most efficient and effective manner to ensure a high quality of published material.
  • Develop and maintain effective use of the Keystone Group’s electronic media as means of communicating with its various audiences.
  • To undertake such other relevant duties as may from time to time be determined.

Experience

  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of a range of design software packages, such as Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point.
  • Industrial experience is desirable.

Special Skills and Attributes

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

  • A high level of design ability and creativity
  • A third level qualification in Graphic Design or Visual Communication or equivalent
  • Skill at using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of printing techniques and photography including good Photoshop skills of retouching
  • Experience of print management
  • Negotiation skills in managing print and design projects
  • ability to manage time well, multi-task, meet deadlines and work within budget
