Position Overview
This is a new position within the company. The potential employee will primarily be responsible for the day to day management of quality of production and the control of quality procedures and accreditations. The company currently holds BBA, ISO: 9001, Investors in People, ISO: 14001 and FSC
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop a robust quality control system that ensures zero tolerance regarding quality
non conformances.
- To ensure that all products are manufactured to an agreed quality procedure.
- To ensure the production process is controlled in such a way as to eliminate non conformances.
- To strictly control incoming materials in accordance with quality procedures.
- To develop and maintain quality procedures for new products.
- Control all quality procedures and undertake all quality audits ensuring that the company standards
And accreditations remain at the highest levels.
- Liaise with Technical Engineers regarding quality and manufacturing requirements and ensure that
These requirements are followed throughout the manufacturing process.
- Undertake supplier quality audits.
Special Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate with degree in engineering/manufacturing/business/quality.
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook).
- Excellent work ethic.
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Ability to read production drawings.
- Can comfortably work unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Focused on customer service.
