Tyrone and the successful candidate will be responsible to our Financial Controller.

Upon completion of ‘on-the-job training’, the successful candidates will be expected to work on their own initiative within a busy finance office, and liaise directly with relevant financial institutes and colleagues.

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

• Working towards or have attained IATI qualification
• Sound knowledge of financial principles
• Good knowledge of financial reporting
• Awareness & understanding of local, state and business law regarding accountancy, finances and taxation
• Technical accounting skills
• Good IT skills, particularly in the use of spread sheets

Desirable criteria:

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a relevant role.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar industry.

Job description:

• Administering weekly payroll
• Arranging payment for invoices
• Preparation of accounts
• Preparation & submission of VAT returns
• Preparation & submission of statistical returns
• Responsible for preparing monthly reports for finance team including:
• Bank reconciliations / cash flow summaries
• Stock reports / attendance at stock takes
• Working capital reports
• Production reports
• Assistance with preparation of audit files
• Other duties as relevant to finance function
