IG Lintels – Cwmbran
IG Lintels is a division of Europe’s largest manufacturer of steel lintels and masonry support systems. The role is based in the Cwmbran.
- To undertake your job with diligence ensuring work is completed to the highest standard possible within agreed timelines. Input customers purchase orders correctly on a daily basis. Answering incoming sales office calls.
- Answer all Phone calls, internal and external in a professional manner ensuring that you do not have your telephone ring longer than three rings (unless in exceptional circumstances)
- Input all orders accurately on a daily basis ensuring correct deliver date, correct price and discount is input
- Print or email order acknowledgements to customers according to company guidelines
- Use ‘orders for coding’ spreadsheet to record all orders that are passed to technical, entering all information as stated on sheet. Orders to be followed up daily with engineer to confirm status
- Fax or email approvals to customer, following up approval requests weekly
- Dealing and resolving customers queries by telephone, fax, post and email ensuring all are dealt with within twenty-four hours
- Highlight all loading errors, transport issues and manufacture errors to the relevant person and record on F1 Notes
- Be aware of stock issues or late deliveries and advise customers accordingly
- Establish and maintain effective, professional, working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and customers
- Maintain a tidy, organised and safe work area
