Contracts Coordinator

Company Background:

smartroof has pioneered the market for insulated roof panels over the last 10 years.  smartroof design and supply a complete package to leading national house builders and is well respected in its field. Due to continued growth and development we require a Contracts Coordinator to work alongside our existing team.

 

Position Overview:

The potential employee will primarily be responsible for the management of all installations and site co-ordination. The role will Involve national coverage of customers/sites and involve regular travel.

 

Job Description:

  • Provide site inductions and continuous support to site management team.
  • Provide installation training and monitoring to new carpentry contractors and registered smartroof installers.
  • Co-ordination of delivery, manufacturing and labour requirements with all relevant parties.
  • Site surveys and assessments
  • Management of sub-contract accounts
  • Management and development of Health and Safety practices
  • Management and development of manufacturing processes
  • Company Headquarters are in Solihull, however the position will be largely ‘site based’ throughout the UK

Job skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role is required
  • Experience in offsite/MMC manufacturing would be beneficial but not essential
  • A comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety practices
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Can comfortably work unsupervised alone and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate and explain to others
  • Focused on customer service
  • Numeracy & literacy skills
  • Computer literate – experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Clean driving license
  • Experience in Joinery/Carpentry
