Company Background:
smartroof has pioneered the market for insulated roof panels over the last 10 years. smartroof design and supply a complete package to leading national house builders and is well respected in its field. Due to continued growth and development we require a Contracts Coordinator to work alongside our existing team.
Position Overview:
The potential employee will primarily be responsible for the management of all installations and site co-ordination. The role will Involve national coverage of customers/sites and involve regular travel.
Job Description:
- Provide site inductions and continuous support to site management team.
- Provide installation training and monitoring to new carpentry contractors and registered smartroof installers.
- Co-ordination of delivery, manufacturing and labour requirements with all relevant parties.
- Site surveys and assessments
- Management of sub-contract accounts
- Management and development of Health and Safety practices
- Management and development of manufacturing processes
- Company Headquarters are in Solihull, however the position will be largely ‘site based’ throughout the UK
Job skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role is required
- Experience in offsite/MMC manufacturing would be beneficial but not essential
- A comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Self-motivated and organized
- Can comfortably work unsupervised alone and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate and explain to others
- Focused on customer service
- Numeracy & literacy skills
- Computer literate – experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Clean driving license
- Experience in Joinery/Carpentry
