Opportunity:

We are looking for a dynamic individual who takes pride in producing good quality workmanship, is self-motivated, well organised with good communication skills and sound business awareness to be based in Swadlincote. Upon completion of ‘on-the-job’ training, the successful candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative within our IG Masonry Support Support team.

Job Description:

• To supervise individuals on the process of bonding brick slips onto steel backed lintels in accordance with a Method statement.
• To supervise individuals on laying out of bricks, considering all tolerances, so ensure factory made product matches in with on-site construction methods.
• To supervise overall quality of finished goods to the company’s Quality standards and provide evidence for traceability for ISO 9001.
• Ability to read and interrupt drawings
• Prioritise work appropriately to deliver the company’s customer service targets.
• Periodic office and site visits to develop customer relationships and to provide guidance/solve technical issues.
• Collate information and prepare clear and structured technical reports on findings from site.
• Educate and train the IG Masonry Support team, to increase their brick knowledge and understanding.
