The 2015 Hardware association Ireland Innovation Awards took place in February at the Citywest conference centre, Dublin. The Keystone Group entered the Hi-Therm Lintel and Futuretherm Roof Window for the ‘Best Build Product’ category resulting in both products being shortlisted.
Chaired by former Dragon’s Den Panellist, Sean Gallagher, the innovation awards generated a level of tension that was palpable outside the judging room. The much-coveted opportunity to grab the titles of best in category and overall winner in the Innovation Awards 2015 drew a high-quality group of inventive entries.
After a Dragon’s Den style pitch for each product to a panel of 5 judges, Keylite’s Futurtherm roof window was awarded Best Build Product, with Keystone’s Hi-Therm Lintel coming home with the highly commended merit.
A total of 17 companies made it to the final presentation stage so the highlight of the night came when Keylite went on to win Best Overall Innovation out of all finalist companies.
Adrian Forbes, Keystone Group Sales Director, commented: “Our steady yet highly ambitious innovation plans have helped us to grow our business year on year and, as our innovative products continue to meet the needs of the industry, so too demand for our products grows. We are, therefore, thrilled to be recognised for our commitment to innovation by the Hardware Association Ireland”.
