Due to continued growth and development we require a Business Development Manager to work alongside our existing team.
Position Overview
This is a new permanent position within the company. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with experience in Business Development seeking a fresh opportunity within a growing and innovative company. The potential employee will primarily be responsible for developing new business and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and organised individual who can comfortably work unsupervised alone and as part of a team.
Job description
- Introduce Smartroof to and develop working relationships with new customers within the house building industry
- Expand the regional coverage of our existing customer base
- Establish Smartroof on the tender lists of target customers
- Bring in and increase the volume of desired enquiries
- Achieve all sales targets set by the General Manager in order to help grow the business
- Develop the awareness of smartroof amongst Architects and SAP assessors and promote the use of roof panel technology
- Provide technical sales presentations to consultants and customers

- Experience in a similar role within the construction (or related) industry
- Clear focus on customer service

- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Numeracy & literacy skills
- Computer literate – experience with Microsoft office
- Full clean driving license
