Keystone Group Named Best Place to Work

Keystone Group Best Place to WorkThe Keystone Group is delighted to announce it has been named as ‘Best Place to Work’ at the recent Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards at Titanic Belfast.

Keystone Lintels was founded in Cookstown in 1989 by Country Tyrone man Sean Coyle. From humble beginnings, in less than thirty years, the business has flourished into a burgeoning entity which now employees in excess of 1000 staff.

Despite this exponential growth, the business has managed throughout the years to retain a family atmosphere which has undoubtedly contributed to its levels of staff retention. With a corporate wellbeing initiative, fitness classes, a Sports & Social Club, family fun days and a cycle to work scheme, Keystone goes to great lengths to ensure a holistic experience for its workforce. The core values of the group were voted for and agreed upon by employees and are those of Innovation, Fun, Quality, Technical Expertise and Commitment and these very much sum up the ethos of the companies which form part of the ever expanding group.

The judges commented ‘Despite a staff of more than 1,000 people and operating in a hugely competitive sector, there’s a family feel to this organisation. It operates a bottom-up approach to running the business, where everyone has a chance to have their say, giving them a feeling of value and ownership. Their mission, vision and values were voted for by staff and are lived out passionately within this organisation.’

Although The Keystone Group has a bursting trophy cabinet of construction industry awards, the Irish News WEA for Best Place to Work has a particular significance for Group Chairman and founder of Keystone, Sean Coyle:

“I am delighted that Keystone has been awarded such a prestigious accolade from The Irish News; it is one which we are extremely proud of. We are committed to the provision of top quality jobs for the local area and hope that this latest accolade will encourage even more young talent to come and work with us.”
